Check out the highlights of Charles Oliveira’s quick win over Will Brooks at UFC 210.
Former Bellator MMA lightweight champion Will Brooks suffered his second loss in as many fights against an opponent named Oliveira. This time it was Charles Oliveira who was able to stop “Ill” Will, who was outwrestled and outgrappled in the whopping two minutes and thirty seconds his UFC 210 fight lasted. “Do Bronx” won via standing rear-naked choke to send Brooks to 1-2 in his underwhelming UFC run.
You can watch the highlights (with the finish!) at the top of the page. Here’s Tim Burke’s play-by-play on Bloody Elbow:
Round 1 – Oliveira with an outside leg kick. Brooks looking to establish his jab. They trade leg kicks. Brooks goes to the body with one. Oliveira with a takedown. Brooks scoots over to the fence and gets up, but Do Bronx threw him back down and jumped on his back. He’s looking to sink a choke in a standing position. Brooks is trying to fight it off. It looks like he’s out on his feet. He taps! Wow.
Charles Oliveira defeated Will Brooks by submission (rear naked choke), 2:30 of round 1
