Prior to the five-fight main card, the promotion uncorked its traditional FOX Sports 1 “Prelims” offering, headlined by Mike De La Torre vs. Myles Jury, and the subsequent ratings were nothing to write home about.
MMA Fighting reports:
The ratings for the UFC 210 prelims on FS1 did 723,000 viewers, the lowest of the three such events so far this year. The viewership was also lower than all but one of the pay-per-view prelims of 2016. This number came on a night of light sports competition. ESPN aired college hockey head-to-head that did 467,000 viewers, which meant FS1 was the top-rated sports station in prime time.
Ouch.
Jury stopped De La Torre in the first round by way of technical knockout, rewarding those viewers who tuned in for some free fisticuffs. Elsewhere on the UFC 210 preliminary card, Kamaru Usman topped Sean Strickland for his fifth straight UFC win.
