UFC 212 video: Embedded, part 2 – ‘I own this place’

Check out episode 2 of Embedded for UFC 212.

UFC 212 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s big show in Rio, and it serves as a brief introduction to the four fighters that make up the top of the card.

This episode kicks off with UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo, who is doing what he’s usually doing – training. He does have the comfort of family around though since the fight card is in Rio. He plays a bit with his daughter while his wife takes about that.

Next off it’s back to the fighter hotel where Karolina Kowalkiewicz is doing some sparring at night. In the morning though, it’s a whole different story – she’s going to the beach with her teammates. She says she’s coming back to the beach on Sunday too, after the fight.

Things switch to Karolina’s opponent, Brazilian Claudia Gadelha, who returns to Brazil and is very happy about it. She then does a commercial for Nissan and she gets to drive one of their cars, where laments driving in Brazil because she can’t speed. She claims she was stopped for speeding five times in her first two months in America. That’s pretty funny.

Finally, Max Holloway does a hike in the jungle, saying that he might never get the chance to come back so he was going to take advantage of being there.

UFC 212 goes down June 2nd in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
