The Underground King gave it his all, you have to give him that. #3 seed Eddie Alvarez made it to the Elite 8 with a dominating upset win, and put in a spirited effort against #1 seed Ben Henderson, but in the end, he fell short. Bendo takes the win 33-23 and has now claimed the first spot in our Final Four.

Today, we see action from the overall tournament #1 seed, as B.J. Penn steps in there once again. His opponent is #3 seed Takanori Gomi in a rematch from their 2003 fight. Hopefully this one goes a little better for Penn than this past weekend’s Dennis Siver fight. I mean, it pretty much has to, right?
