Former welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre announced on Instagram that he’s signed on to fight Michael Bisping at UFC 217.
After months of delays and talks, it seems as though Georges St-Pierre vs. Michael Bisping will be finalized soon.
The former UFC Welterweight Champion posted a photo of himself signing the fight contact on Instagram. In the post, St-Pierre said that he has signed on to fight Michael Bisping for the UFC Middleweight Championship at UFC 217.
“Finally signing my UFC 217 Bout Agreement vs. Michael Bisping for Nov. 4th at MSG – Get ready for a big night in NYC!!!” GSP states in the Instagram post.

This fight would mark GSP’s return to the Octagon after four years away from the sport. His last fight was a controversial split decision win against Johny Hendricks at UFC 167 in November 2013.
Michael Bisping will return to action for the first time in over a year. In his first title defense, Bisping defeated Dan Henderson by unanimous decision at UFC 204.
UFC 217 takes place in New York City on November 4th. Cody Garbrandt vs. T.J. Dillashaw has also been rumored for the event at Madison Square Garden.
