Check out the first episode of Embedded for The Money Fight: Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor.
The UFC usually puts out a five or six-part Embedded series before every pay-per-view to get fans acquainted with the participants in the top fights and let people see what fight week is like. This time, they’re going to do it for their homegrown superstar Conor McGregor, who is set to take on Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a huge boxing match on August 26th.
The first episode of the show is pretty basic. It starts off with a few members of Conor’s crew singing about knocking Mayweather out as they drive over to the UFC Performance Institute. Conor laughs at Donald Trump’s recent threats towards North Korea while they tape his hands, and we hear from Owen Roddy and John Kavanagh. Basically they’re just keeping him sharp and starting the weight cut.
We move over to Floyd Mayweather, who is watching his team embarrass themselves at the driving range and making fun of them.
Back to Conor, who meets some fans as he’s driving around. Then the next day, he’s working out with a medicine ball on his lawn with Artem Lobov. They then head over to Top Shot, which is like laser tag but a lot more realistic. The team goofs around for a while there.
Finally they show Mayweather eating Burger King to “keep that weight on”. And thanks Dana White for “bringing that b-tch to the table”.
Mayweather and McGregor will meet on August 26th in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
