Here are all the ways you can stream UFC 215 live from Edmonton, Alberta.
Well, this card has taken some lumps. A few weeks ago the event, which takes place at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB, lost Junior dos Santos versus Francis Ngannou due to a failed drug test, on the part of JDS. And with just 48 hours notice Demetrious Johnson’s flyweight title defense versus Ray Borg was also scrapped, due to illness on the part of Borg.
Fight fans in Edmonton will still get a title fight, though. Elevated into the main event spot is Amanda Nunes versus Valentina Shevchenko II for the UFC women’s bantamweight championship. That fight was meant to happen back at UFC 213 but was cancelled in the last minute due to illness, on the part of Nunes. The fight is a rematch of a non-title fight that happened last March, which Nunes won by decision. Will it be the same story this time or will ‘Bullet’ wrest the belt away from the ‘Lioness’?
The rest of the main card is pretty decent. The co-main sees former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos take on Neil Magny at 170lbs. Before that former flyweight challengers Henry Cejudo and Wilson Reis will face-off. Also on the main card hot prospect Tyson Pedro takes on tha gawd Ilir Latifi in the light heavyweight division, and Giblert Gilbert Melendez returns (at featherweight) to fight Jeremy Stephens.
The FS1 prelim show is headlined by a women’s bantamweight fight between former challenger Sara McMann and Ketlen Vieira. Before that fight Sarah Moras takes on Ashlee Evans-Smith, also in the women’s bantamweight division. The prelim card also includes Gavin Tucker versus Rick Glenn at featherweight and Mitch Clarke versus Alex White at lightweight.
Just two fights on the Fight Pass early prelims tonight. There you’ll find Luiz Henrique welcome Arjan Bhullar to the UFC heavyweight division and Kajan Johnson return to take on Adriano Martins.
