Chan Sung Jung took a page out of Conor McGregor’s book when he responded to Jeremy Stephens’ challenge via Twitter.
After his impressive victory over Gilbert Melendez at UFC 215, Jeremy Stephens is back on the winning track, after a two-fight skid. The number eight-ranked UFC featherweight walked out the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada that night a happy man, especially since his decision to postpone his wedding to take the fight had paid off.
With the win, “Li’l Heathen” is now looking at his future options. His top priority was to fight Jose Aldo, but with the former 145-pound champion’s absence and uncertainty, he has looked towards other top contenders, as well.
Stephens made his intentions known via a tweet he posted on Tuesday.
Hearing Jose doesn’t want none..? ???What’s up w/ Korean Zombie? I’d like to fight him too. Any translators that can get him to step up?

The challenge did get to Chan Sung Jung, and did issue a response by doing what Conor McGregor did during the UFC 205 pre-fight press conference.

The Korean Zombie is currently healing up a knee injury, and is expected to remain out of action for the rest of the year. He was originally slated to face Ricardo Lamas at UFC 214 last July, and was subsequently replaced by Jason Knight.
