Mike Perry asked nicely for a fight with Darren Till for Christmas, and it sounds like Till is ready to oblige him.

Following the biggest win of Darren Till’s undefeated career, he had words with a fellow UFC welterweight in Gdansk. And despite some things not going the way that Mike Perry has wanted, it appears that Till doesn’t care. He’ll fight him anyway.

Perry, who is coming off an exciting loss to Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC 218, took to social media to call out Till. Despite Perry’s rep as a trash-talker, he did it quite respectfully:

Till quickly responded and accepted, actually saying that the rankings and even a loss don’t matter:

Till (16-0-1, 4-0-1 UFC) is coming off a first-round TKO win over Donald Cerrone in October and is currently the seventh-ranked contender at 170 pounds. He was looking for a fight in his native Liverpool with top contender Stephen Thompson, but Wonderboy isn’t interested in that.

Perry (13-2, 4-2 UFC is currently unranked following the loss to The Ponz. But if Perry and Till want to face off, I’m sure fans aren’t going to complain. That’s a fight of the night contender on any card it’s placed on.
