Check out this compilation of knockout wins by Joseph Parker ahead of his big fight vs. Anthony Joshua.
Joseph Parker (24-0, 18 KOs) is the WBO heavyweight champion, and on March 31st, he’ll be in Cardiff, Wales looking to also grab the WBA and IBF belts by defeating superstar Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs). Parker is the first heavyweight champ from New Zealand, fulfilling what the great David Tua was unable to manage.
While not nearly as prolific as Joshua, Parker has got plenty of knockouts on his record. The level of competition is definitely below Joshua’s, although his best wins (Carlos Takam, Andy Ruiz, and Hughie Fury) were all decisions, so you won’t see any highlights here. You can watch all 18 knockouts in the video at the top of the page. The last one on his ledger is a really weird one against Alexander Dimitrenko. I suggest reading Bad Left Hook for some better context on what transpired, as Dimitrenko was clearly looking for a way out and hoped for a DQ win.
Showtime Sports will broadcast Joshua vs. Parker live at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT. Sky Box Office will have the entire PPV card in the UK at 7 PM local time.
