Check out the fight card and bout order for UFC 223: Holloway vs. Khabib, which goes down on April 7th in Brooklyn, New York.
The UFC returns to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday, April 7th for an absolutely terrific pay-per-view event. In the headlining spot, Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov fight for the “undisputed lightweight title,” so Conor McGregor is theoretically stripped once that bout actually happens. Scrap what I just wrote, Ferguson is out, and Max Holloway is stepping in on really short notice in an attempt to become a simultaneous two-division champion. Unreal. In the co-main event, strawweight champion Rose Namajunas defends her belt in an immediate rematch against the woman she famously snatched it from, Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
As for the rest of the main card, rising featherweight prospect Calvin Kattar takes on Renato Moicano in a seriously under-the-radar matchup. Lightweights comprise the first two PPV slots, as Al Iaquinta opens the broadcast with a big showdown against Paul Felder, while Michael Chiesa goes up against Anthony Pettis.
If that wasn’t enough, Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Felice Herrig top the prelims, with Ray Borg and Brandon Moreno also featured. UFC Fight Pass sees Artem Lobov take on Alex Caceres, as well as featherweight phenom Zabit Magomedsharipov versus Kyle Bochniak.
