Rogan: McGregor’s Special Treatment Is ‘F—ked Up’

After initially expressing his utter disgust for Conor McGregor and even insinuating he would no longer be in the “Notorious” business following the Irishman’s meltdown in Brooklyn, N.Y. (see it), Dana White revealed things were “good” between he and his biggest star and that the respect factor was still there.

In short, White and Co. will still be in the McGregor business because the McGregor business brings in the big bucks.

While it remains to be seen if Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) levies any sort of punishment (insert laugh here) against the former two-division champion for damaging a bus, injuring fighters and staff and forcing the cancellation of three fights at UFC 223, Joe Rogan, for one, doesn’t appreciate the special treatment “Notorious” seems to be receiving.

The longtime UFC color commentator broke it all down during a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience.

“I wouldn’t say it was a booze move, it’s more of a coke move. Or it could just be part of his act. What if that dolly hit the part where Rose was sitting and cut Rose’s face up? Michael Chiesa, I’m sad that he got cut but Chiesa is a tough bastard, he will be fine. He is probably pissed off, will sue Conor and make a shit load of money suing him. But what if it hit Rose? The fucking world would hate him. What if Rose was blinded in one eye because of that? Ray Borg got cuts in his eyes, so it’s entirely possible. He got glass shards in, he’s got a scratched cornea. Chiesa filed a complaint, which will lead to a lawsuit, I would imagine. If I was Conor, I would settle every fucking thing outside of a courtroom because if he loses and he gets a felony, he’s fucked. He probably won’t even be able to come into the country. Switch it around; imagine if Ray Borg threw that dolly and Conor was inside. He’d be gone, his career would be over. That’s one of the more fucked up things about this is that you know Conor is getting special treatment. He is, and that’s not good for anybody.”

Jason High wholeheartedly agrees with you, Joe.

McGregor is set to appear in court this summer after posting bail following his arrest. As far as other potential legal matters that could come his way as as a result of the incident, “The Maverick” has indeed filed a police report against Conor, and it’s safe to assume Borg will follow suit.

In more ways than one.
