Bellator MMA heads to the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois for the third of four quarterfinal matchups of the promotion’s heavyweight tournament. The main event pits the legendary Fedor Emelianenko against former UFC champion Frank Mir, who is making his Bellator debut. Chael Sonnen awaits the winner of this fight, after Chael kicked off the tournament by beating Quinton Jackson.
The rest of the main card includes a featherweight bout between Sam Sicilia and Emmanuel Sanchez, BJJ superstar and middleweight prospect Rafael Lovato Jr against late-notice replacement Gerald Harris (subbing for the injured John Salter), Neiman Gracie versus Javier Torres in a welterweight affair, and the MMA debut of one Dillon Danis, as Conor McGregor’s jiu jitsu training partner goes up against Kyle Walker.
