Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to pay-per-view (PPV) this weekend for the UFC 224: “Nunes vs. Pennington” mixed martial arts (MMA) event, locked and loaded for this Saturday night (May 12, 2018) inside Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Topping the card is the women’s bantamweight title fight pitting reigning 135-pound queenpin Amanda Nunes opposite top division contender Raquel Pennington. In the middleweight co-main event, hometown hero Ronaldo Souza will look to quell the uprising of welterweight import Kelvin Gastelum.

In episode one of the UFC 224 “Embedded” video blog series (watch it), we got to follow strawweight phenom Mackenzie Dern as she prepared for her sophomore effort against Amanda Bobby Cooper. Today, we shift our focus to “ABC” and her baby-food diet.

From the official YouTube description:

On Episode 2 of UFC 224 Embedded, middleweight Lyoto Machida relishes the beauty of his home country. Women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes runs indoors with her girlfriend, strawweight Nina Ansaroff. Middleweight Jacare Souza arrives in Brazil and has a friendly interaction with the coach of his opponent, Kelvin Gastelum, who manages to enjoy his time in hostile territory. Strawweight Amanda Cooper discusses her baby food diet. After an outdoor workout, Nunes and Ansaroff run into a friend and former teammate, strawweight Tecia Torres – who just happens to be engaged to Nunes’ opponent, Raquel Pennington. UFC 224 Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to the women’s bantamweight championship at UFC 218 on Saturday, May 12th on Pay-Per-View.
