Here are the score totals for Darren Till’s controversial win over Stephen Thompson at UFC Liverpool.
In a fight where landed strikes were at a premium, it was Liverpool’s own Darren Till who came away with a unanimous decision over two-time welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson in Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 130 main event. Till knocked “Wonderboy” down the final round, but as it turns out, he didn’t even need that. He could’ve lost the final round 10-9 and still won a split decision.

Till unanimously took rounds two, four, and five. Andy Roberts was the only one to give Till round three, and also was the sole judge to give Thompson the opening frame.
Roberts also raised eyebrows earlier in the evening, as he gave Jason Knight all three rounds against Makwan Amirkhani, who took 29-28s from the other two judges to win by split decision. Sutherland also curiously awarded Brad Scott a 29-28 over Carlo Pedersoli, even though the overwhelming consensus was a Pedersoli 29-28.
FightMetric stats have Till outlanding Thompson 38-30 in significant strikes, with each man throwing 126, which tells you the staggeringly low output this fight delivered. The final round featured the widest margin, as Till had 9 to Thompson’s 3.
