Sounds like daughter Bella may have to share some of her toys.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight division is fertile ground, literally, as No. 8-ranked contender Sara McMann joins Julianna Pena and Miesha Tate as the latest 135-pound standout to announce a new addition to the family.
“Chad and I started trying after my last fight and that SOB knocked me up immediately,” McMann wrote on Instagram. “I’m 12 weeks along! We decided that it was the right time in all aspects. So, yes I will still be fighting. My body handles pregnancy very well and I am training through the majority of it.”
McMann (11-5) was expected to take time off regardless to heal nagging injuries. The Olympic silver medalist is mired in a two-fight slump, having to succumbed to Ketlen Viera and Marion Reneau at UFC 215 and UFC on FOX 28, respectively.
Prior to that, the 37-year-old wrestler captured three straight wins with two submissions.
