Marlon Moraes is edging closer to the top of the bantamweight pack in this week’s UFC fighter rankings.

UFC Utica was bad on paper, bad in person (other than the main event), and had very little effect on the UFC rankings. Marlon Moraes’ quick win over Jimmie Rivera moved him up into striking distance for a title shot at bantamweight, and Junior dos Santos continues to creep up the heavyweight charts as he prepares for his return. But that was about it.

P4P – No changes.

HeavyweightJunior dos Santos continues to rise now that he has been reinstated, going from seven to five. Mark Hunt dropped one spot for a tie for six down to seven.

Light HeavyweightDominick Reyes is up one to 11, dropping Patrick Cummins to 12. Tyson Pedro is up one to 13, dropping Gadzhimurad Antigulov to 14. Sam Alvey enters the list at 15, bumping the man he beat, Gian Villante, from the rankings.

MiddleweightMichael Bisping’s removal is still having an effect on 185. Derek Brunson, David Branch, and Brad Tavares are all up one to six, seven, and eight respectively. Uriah Hall is up one to ten. Paulo Costa is up three to 11. Thiago Santos and Elias Theodorou are up one each to 13 and 14. Krzysztof Jotko is back in at 15.

Welterweight – No changes.

Lightweight – No changes.

Featherweight – No changes.

Bantamweight – As mentioned, Moraes moved past Rivera for the four spot, bumping Rivera to five. Alejandro Perez entered the rankings at 15.

Flyweight – No changes.

Women’s Bantamweight – No changes.

Women’s Flyweight – Alexis Davis is up one to three, dropping Lauren Murphy one to four. Liz Carmouche flip-flopped the six and seven spots with Barb Honchak.

Women’s Strawweight – No changes.
