Check out the second episode of Embedded for UFC 227.
UFC 227 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s big show in California, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start out at Demetrious Johnson’s house. His brother-in-law envisions him as a two-belt champ. DJ plays in his backyard pool with his kids. Down in Phoenix, Henry Cejudo gets a haircut and chats with the guys at the barber shop. Back in Seattle, DJ talks about the impending birth of his third child. His other two were born right before fights so he couldn’t be as available as he wanted to be. He believes this time will be different.
Over in LA, Cody Garbrandt does some media. He talks about not caring what T.J. Dillashaw has to say this time around. He also said he didn’t have the conditioning he wanted in the first fight due to injuries, but he will this time. Dillashaw says he’s injury-free this camp, and his massage therapist explains why.
Dillashaw closes by talking about enjoying the pain of camp, because it will all be worth it in the end.
And that’s it! UFC 227 goes down this Saturday night in Los Angeles.
