After all was said and done at the UFC 228 pay-per-view (PPV) event — which went down on Sat., Sept. 8, 2018 inside American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas — there was plenty of “Thrill and Agony” to go around.
Sharing in the obvious joy was Tyron Woodley, who successfully defended his Welterweight strap for the third time against Darren Till in the headlining act, choking the Brit out in the second round (see it again here). Also, Jessica Andrade and Co. were sharing in the elation after scoring a ferocious first-round knockout win over Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
Of course, the other side of the coin shows the agony after defeat, including the aforementioned Till, who has to start from scratch after coming up short in his first-ever title bid. As a consolation prize, “Gorilla” earned himself a big hug from Tyron’s mother, and some highly-inspirational words that will cheer anybody up.
