This Thursday (Sept. 20, 2018), Ultimate Fighting Championship will stage the first press conference inside Radio City Music Hall in New York, N.Y., to promote the upcoming Lightweight title fight between division kingpin, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and former 155-pound champion, Conor McGregor, which is set for UFC 229 on Oct. 6, 2018.

The problem? It will be closed to the general public and will only be open to select media members. McGregor, though, isn’t having it, posting on Twitter to proclaim that the much-anticipated event will, in fact, be open to fight fans.

For a small price, of course.

I’m guessing that bid to be part owner finally went through.

Of course, McGregor is promoting his recently-launched brand of whiskey (details here), so much to the dismay of all fight fans, the event will still be closed to the general public. But don’t fret, UFC will have a viewing party right in the heart of Times Square, as the presser will be streaming on the “Mega-Zilla” television screen that covers a full block on Broadway between 45th and 46th streets.

If you’re not in “The Empire State,” don’t worry, we’ve got you covered, as you can check out the presser right here at MMAmania.com beginning at 5 p.m ET.
