Watch the first press conference for UFC 229: Khabib vs. McGregor right here on Bloody Elbow at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT on Thursday, September 20th.
We are less than three weeks away from one of the biggest fights — if not the biggest — in UFC history, as former two-division champion Conor McGregor returns to the Octagon to take on current lightweight king Khabib Nurmagomedov. While there is no “World Tour” for this event like we saw for McGregor vs. Jose Aldo, it’s not like they won’t be doing media at all.
Thursday, September 20th in New York City marks the first press conference to promote the UFC 229 headliners, which means we will see Khabib and McGregor go face-to-face. Despite what McGregor may claim, this press conference is NOT open to the public, and will be for media members only. However, the UFC is hosting a viewing party in Times Square, and ESPN News will also cover this event.
You can watch the free live stream in the video player below, starting at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT. I mean, it’s supposed to start at 5 PM ET, but if McGregor shows up on time then that’s one of the biggest shocks in recent memory.
UFC 229 takes place on October 6th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
