Big drama pay-per-view show!

It seems that mixed martial arts (MMA) fans are so excited to have Conor McGregor make his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) return, that even the illegal streamers are considering plunking down north of $60 for his “Notorious” comeback.

That’s according to promotion president Dana White, who took turns shouting over Stephen A. Smith on ESPN’s “First Take.” Probably because the trash-talking Irishman is willing to fight anyone, anywhere, at any time.

Even in Russia!

“Conor texted me and said, ‘I’ll fight this guy in Russia,’” White said. “The mentality of Conor McGregor … when you’re a fight fan, you love guys who want to fight the absolute best. This fight is trending at 2.5 million pay-per-view buys.”

McGregor will try to recapture the crown at the expense of reigning lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, who took over the 155-pound reigns when “Notorious” was stripped for inactivity back in April.

Their five-round main event, assuming it goes that long, takes place on Sat., Oct. 6, 2018 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Awaiting the winner will be Tony Ferguson, assuming “El Cucuy” can cancel “Showtime” at the very same show.
