LAS VEGAS – Even more than 24 hours later, the message that UFC
middleweight champion Anderson Silva was sending at Wednesday’s pre-UFC
126 press conference resonated loud and clear with MMA fans and pundits
alike.
Not so with main-event opponent Vitor Belfort.
“I just know one thing: When you say silly things, when you do silly
things, it’s because you’re worried, and you’re trying to wear a mask,”
Belfort told MMAjunkie.com. “The way I fight, and
the way I am, I have respect. I just need to wear one mask: myself.”
