Check out the first episode of Embedded for UFC 230.
UFC 230 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the first episode for this weekend’s big show in New York City, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
UFC double champ Daniel Cormier is at AKA, talking about what Derrick Lewis will bring to their heavyweight title fight – a lack of fear. Lewis is down in Texas, doing his last day of camp. His coach talks about how amazing this situation is, and that the pressure is on the champ. And that no one turns down a UFC title fight.
Chris Weidman heads over to Matt Serra’s BJJ gym. Serra says he knows Ronaldo Souza’s BJJ game. Weidman says that Jacare has been on his radar for a long time and he knew they were going to fight eventually. Jacare is down in Florida, training and talking about his accomplishments (in English).
Lewis attends a Houston Rockets game, where he takes a pre-game free throw. At he makes it! He then helps to slingshot the mascot in a good ol’ game of mascot bowling.
Cormier is at home with his kids, painting pumpkins. He’s trying to paint OSU on one, but it’s awful. He wants his son to go there though, so he tries another one. It’s better – but his daughter reiterates that the first one was “terrible”.
That’s it! UFC 230 goes down this Saturday night in MSG.
