Li Jingliang will look to collect his eighth straight win inside the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Octagon this Saturday (Nov. 24, 2018) when he faces David Zawada in main card action at UFC Fight Night 141 in Beijing, China.
Before that, let’s take a look at one of Li’s greatest performances inside the Octagon. Back in late 2017, Jingliang found himself face-to-face with longtime UFC veteran Zak Ottow at UFC Fight Night 122 in Shanghai.
After a close first round that saw it stay on the feet for the majority of the two and half minutes they were in there, Li floored Ottow with a wicked right hand. Like a shark smelling blood, “The Leech” pounced on his fallen foe and deliver some ground-and-pound until the referee stepped in to put an end to the fight.
That performance was good enough to earn Li UFC’s “KO of the Week.” Now, Li will look to collect back-to-back wins against Zawadam who is in desperate need of a victory after coming up short in his UFC debut earlier this year.
