Jon Jones has stated a fight between himself and Chuck Liddell will never happen.
After Chuck Liddell’s ugly loss to Tito Ortiz in their trilogy fight this past weekend, Jon Jones has said he will refuse to reply to any of Liddell’s future call-outs.
When Liddell announced his return to fighting earlier this year, his ideal plan was to have two warm-up fights then a fight with Jones. Once a kingpin in the UFC’s 205-pound division, Liddell hadn’t fought in MMA since 2010 before his loss to Ortiz, and he has now lost his last four fights all by knockout.
When asked on Twitter if a Liddell vs. Jones fight could ever come to fruition, ‘Bones’ stated that the fight will not happen.
Yeah it’s official, I am never replying to chuck calling me out again. https://t.co/oDYJ91Aes0

Jones didn’t stop there, as he also took the time to call-out former UFC light heavyweight Rashad Evans. Replying to another question on Twitter, it was claimed that Evans had stated Jones had been a clean athlete for just one of his fights in the UFC, against Ovince Saint-Preux in April 2016. The 31-year-old, who has had several anti-doping incidents during his UFC career, didn’t take kindly to Evans’ comments.
It’s easy for him to talk shit when he knows he’ll never be in the top 10 again. His theory makes no sense, I was freaking massive for that OSP fight. Literally bigger and more ripped than I had ever been for any previous fight. Hey Rashad https://t.co/kHvQzS9lur

Jones will return to the octagon for the first time in almost 18-months at UFC 232 on December 29th to face Alexander Gustafsson in a rematch.
