Robert Whittaker, Kelvin Gastelum, and Israel Adesanya were all on hand in Adelaide, Australia this last weekend to promote their upcoming fights on February’s UFC 234 PPV card.
UFC 234 may not be anywhere near fully booked yet, but it already has two big middleweight fights attached to the February PPV card. In the main event, champion Robert Whittaker will make the first official defense of his title belt, when he takes on fellow former Ultimate Fighter winner Kelvin Gastelum.
And, penciled in for the co-main, former champion and divisional GOAT Anderson Silva will return to action once again. He’s set to take on former world-class kickboxer and rising MMA phenom Isreal Adesanya, with the winner likely to get the next shot at the middleweight crown.
As such, Whittaker, Gastelum, and Adesanya were all down in Adelaide for last weekend’s UFC Fight Night action to field questions about their upcoming bouts.
