Bellator 212: “Salute the Troops” — also known as “Primus vs. Chandler 2” — goes down at Neal S. Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Dec. 14, 2018, featuring a main event between undefeated Lightweight champion, Brent Primus (8-0), against former 155-pound kingpin, Michael Chandler (18-4), in a long-awaited rematch.
Bellator MMA’s tribute to the troops already came with free admission to servicemen and women along with their families. What about those who can’t attend in person, though, such as the more than 400,000 active-duty armed forces around the globe and over 200 Navy vessels sailing the high seas? Perhaps those brave folks could stream the DAZN simulcast with good Internet, but it’s unlikely they have Paramount Network.
There’s good news, though! American Forces Network has stepped up to provide the live broadcast free to all of those active-duty service people around the world. This means they’ll also get a Heavyweight tilt between Frank Mir (18-12) and Javy Ayala (10-7), a Featherweight bout pitting Derek Campos (19-7) against Sam Sicilia (15-9), and a women’s Flyweight fight with ranking implications for Alejandra Lara (7-2) and Juliana Velasquez (7-0).
