UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier has something to say about Jon Jones’ win over Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 232.
UFC 232 was a déjà vu moment for Jon Jones. For the second time in his UFC career, he came out of a lengthy time in the sidelines to bounce back and reclaim the 205-pound title that was in his possession for four consecutive years.
Jones’ performance and victory rendered mixed reactions from fighters, including from rival Daniel Cormier, who continued to pick on the drug test issue at hand.
I mean shit , he should win! Dude starts with a head start everytime #usadafake #jonnybrasco

“Bones” also had some words for Cormier during his post-fight Octagon interview with Joe Rogan.
“Man, I know there’s a guy who’s been calling himself ‘champ-champ,” Jones said after the win. “I mean what guy just gives up his belt because somebody else made it home?”
“Daddy’s home, DC. Prove to the fans you’re a champ-champ. Come get a taste.”
Jones had already stated that he does not intend to fight Cormier at heavyweight, and that he never took their long-time rivalry personal.
