Thoughts and prayers.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, was so rattled by his disciplinary suspension, handed down earlier today (Tues., Jan. 29, 2019) in Las Vegas, Nevada, that he … took a nap.
But before “The Eagle” dozed off, on what appears to the couch that time forgot, he was able to share his reaction to the news that Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) benched him for nine months and kept $500,000 of his fight purse.
Against a six-month suspension and $50,000 fine for Conor McGregor.

Blame the “weak soul.”
Nurmagomedov submitted McGregor in their UFC 229 title fight last October, then jumped the cage to attack his “Notorious” jiu-jitsu coach, Dillon Danis. The Irishman, meanwhile, remained in the Octagon to battle errant members of the Dagestani goon squad, who also found themselves in hot water with NSAC.
