The first UFC pay-per-view of 2019 is almost here. UFC 234 takes place on February 9th (February 10th in Australia) and will double as the promotion’s first PPV of the ESPN era. In the main event, middleweight champion Robert Whittaker defends his title against fellow striker Kelvin Gastelum. As for the co-main event, middleweight contender and rising star Israel Adesanya looks to further his case for a title shot, as he fights the iconic former champion Anderson Silva.
As for the rest of the main card? Well it’s certainly no UFC 235, is it? Bantamweight veteran Rani Yahya takes on Ricky Simon, women’s flyweights Montana De La Rosa and Nadia Kassem square off, while late replacement Sam Alvey takes on light heavyweight prospect Jim Crute.
