Donald Cerrone provides possible dates for his next fight inside of the Octagon. It’s no secret that his next possible fight will likely be showdown against former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
Cerrone finished Alexander Hernandez by TKO in the second round at the UFC on ESPN+ 1 event. This show went down on January 19, 2019, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Following the fight, Cerrone called him out and McGregor responded by stating that he would be willing to book the fight.
The former lightweight title contender teased the possible dates in a recent photo shared on his official Instagram account. He captioned it with, “April 13 or July 6th.”
These are key dates but at the end of the day, either one would be in line with McGregor’s Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) suspension for his involvement in the UFC 229 brawl. Conor is slated to be cleared to fight again in early April.
UFC 236 goes down on April 13th while UFC 239 takes place on July 6th as part of International Fight Week.
