The biggest UFC PPV of this year is in the books with tonight’s (Sat., March 2, 2019) UFC 235 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In the main event, Jon Jones outclassed Anthony Smith over the course of five full rounds. “Bones” was deducted two points for an illegal knee, but it didn’t matter as he earned a 48-44 score on the cards. In the co-main, Kamaru Usman absolutely destroyed welterweight champ Tyron Woodley over the course of another five rounds to become the new welterweight champ in somewhat of a snoozer. ‘The Chosen One’ looked like he didn’t really want to be there.

The card also saw the debut of former Bellator and ONE champion Ben Askren, who submitted former UFC champion Robbie Lawler amid much controversy due to the stoppage. Also on the card, surging featherweight Zabit Magomedsharipov outlasted Jeremy Stephens for his biggest-ever win.

The card may not have delivered up to its nearly unattainable hype. There’s still a ton to unpack after the event, however. Join us to do just that with the post-fight press conference streaming live after the main card right here:
