The UFC seems to be getting a little bit more top heavy salary-wise when it comes to title fights. With two belts up for grabs at the top of UFC 235, the lion’s share of the money went to the top four combatants with champions Jon Jones and Tyron Woodley fighting on flat $500,000 disclosed salaries, while challengers Kamaru Usman and Anthony Smith made a cool $350,000.

Of course, Usman will be making more then next time out since he dismantled Woodley to take his belt.

There was money to be made in other places though as well. Ben Askren got paid well in his UFC debut, making 350k himself. Robbie Lawler made 200k, and Diego Sanchez was just behind that with 198k. Former champion Cody Garbrandt and rising contender Zabit Magomedsharipov both came in above 100k as well.
