Welcome to Midnight Mania!

UFC middleweight Israel Adesanya expressed his support today after the tragic shooting of Muslims by a white supremacist terrorist inside two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, that left has 49 dead thus far.

15th March 2019…Normally these terrorist attacks are known to happen overseas (‘Murica) so you never really pay it no mind cuz “NZ isn’t as bad with racism”. But it happened here in New Zealand and we have to make sure that we stay staunch together. We won’t let them win… This is our home xoxo

Adesanya was born into a Christian family in Nigeria, and emigrated to New Zealand with his family at the age of 13. He explained his perspective more in the comments on this post.

He also said that prayers themselves aren’t good enough unless accompanied by action.

Adesanya faces Kelvin Gastelum for the interim middleweight title in the co-main event of UFC 236 on April 13 in Atlanta, Georgia. He most recently defeated Anderson Silva by unanimous decision. Robert Whittaker, the current middleweight champion, was born in New Zealand, and also posted a message of thoughts and prayers for the victims and families affected.

I don’t understand Darren Till’s obsession with this song at all. Is it a Liverpool thing?

Dustin Poirier and Max Holloway have tactfully understated social media games.

That’s regional MMA for you.
