Conor McGregor gives a pep talk to the Boston Bruins players before playing a key game on Saturday night against Columbus Blue Jackets at the TD Garden in Boston. The UFC star not only talked to the players but also dropped the puck on the ice to kick off the start of the game.
The former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion wrote the following in the caption of these videos posted on his Instagram account:
“Out here in Boston supporting the Black and Gold Batmen! The @nhlbruins!!! Boston strong baby, let’s GO!”
McGregor has been in the headlines throughout the week and for all the wrong reasons. He was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida on charges of strong-arm robbery and criminal mischief. The charges carried bonds of $7,500 and $5,000.
The good news is that McGregor is still eyeing a return to the Octagon and shared a timeline for it.
