Back when Zuffa Boxing was a thing adorning t-shirts and occupying Dana White’s mind, the UFC president flew four division champ and free agent Mikey Garcia to Las Vegas to discuss becoming one of the first boxers on his roster. And while that (along with the rest of Zuffa Boxing) never managed to come together, White is still clearly a fan of Garcia.
How much of a fan? Enough to place a $10,000 bet on Mikey’s welterweight title fight on Saturday night against Errol Spence Jr.
FOX Sports shared an image of the betting slip on their Twitter, which would have paid out a cool $23,000 had Garcia won the bout.

Unfortunately for Garcia and White, that’s not what happened. Errol Spence Jr. controlled the fight handily, outstriking Garcia a stunning 345 to 75 over 12 rounds. Judges awarded Spence the fight with 120-107, 120-108, and 120-108 scores.

Dana White’s known to be a serious blackjack player, throwing down $50,000+ on a single hand and dragging home trash bags full of money. We’re sure he’s lost his fair share of huge hands too, so what’s $10,000 to a guy who reportedly cashed on out on the UFC sale to the tune of over a quarter million dollars?
