New video has surfaced of the buffet-line brawl between Colby Covington, Kamaru Usman, and Ali Abdelaziz.
In the original footage (watch it here), it’s hard to tell how the altercation got started. But now TMZ has new footage of Usman, who captured the 170-pound strap from Tyron Woodley at UFC 235 last month in Las Vegas, team up with Abdelaziz, his manager, for a seek-and-destroy mission inside Palms Casino.
Apparently those two dopes forgot the first line of the bro code: Never fuck with a man before he’s had his morning coffee. Sheesh.
Anyway, it’s clear that Abdelaziz is the aggressor and lunges forward with a punch. Why a manager is trying to throw hands in a public place is unknown, but it reflects poorly on himself, his client, and mixed martial arts (MMA).
Sure, “Chaos” runs his mouth, but whatever happened to sticks and stones?
Usman and Covington are expected to settle their differences at an upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event later this year. I can only imagine what their press conferences and staredowns will be like with this much combustibility.
Time will tell.
