Conor McGregor reacts to the news of T.J. Dillashaw’s suspension, claiming that Cody Garbrandt is ‘clean and unbeaten.’

Conor McGregor always did say T.J. Dillashaw was a ‘snake in the grass.’

Well, it turns out Dillashaw, the former two-time UFC bantamweight champion, tested positive for EPO (recombinant human erythropoietin) use in relation to his flyweight title bout with Henry Cejudo at UFC Fight Night 143.

According to the UFC’s Vice President of Athlete Health and Performance, Jeff Novitzky, EPO is “a very effective substance. It’s not a substance you find in contaminated supplements, it’s injectable only. You have to know what you’re doing when it enters your system.”

The 33-year-old has been suspended for two years and has been removed from the official UFC rankings. The earliest Dillashaw can return to the Octagon is January 19, 2021.

McGregor, the former ‘champ-champ’, reacted to Dillashaw’s suspension by crediting ex-teammate Cody Garbrandt, who suffered back-to-back knockout losses to Dillashaw at UFC 217 and UFC 227, as being ‘clean and unbeaten.’

“Respect Cody! The loyalty you showed for Urijah and your team on that faithful day in the TUF gym will forever stand out to me! Enjoy this moment and these returned victories to you! Clean and Unbeaten!” McGregor posted on Twitter yesterday evening.

Since Dillashaw’s suspension, Garbrandt has called for Dillashaw’s past samples to be tested for EPO, calling the former champ a ‘scumbag.’ The 27-year-old accused Dillashaw of EPO use back in 2018.

“No shit! I’m talking about the March fight and then you said you were hurt, must be all that EPO going to your head! Have a safe camp see you in aug!”
