An original member of The Ultimate Fighter has passed away at just 45 years of age.
Lodune Sincaid, who appeared on The Ultimate Fighter season one as a light heavyweight, has died at the age of 45.
No further details were revealed about Sincaid’s death. The news was revealed on Sincaid’s official website, Lodune MMA.
“Lodune Sincaid was found dead April 7, 2019,” The statement read. “Lodune was a true friend and will be missed by those close to him as well as those who crossed his path during his time on this earth. He held no grudges and left this life in peace.”
UFC president Dana White paid his respects to Sincaid on Twitter.

Sincaid made his professional MMA debut back in 2001, and last fought in 2010 finishing his career with a record of 15-9. The Minnesota native lost his first fight on TUF 1 to Bobby Southworth by second round knockout, he then fought in the finale but lost to Nate Quarry by TKO.
After that, “The Vanilla Gorilla” discovered success for WEC, winning his debut against James Irvin and eventually winning the promotion’s light heavyweight title.
Sincaid was very vocal about the two biggest struggles in his life, PTSD from his time in the military and genetic bipolar disorder. His website listed a few organizations that Sincaid valued, one of which is the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
