Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contender, Darren Till, appears to have bought his way out of trouble after an impromptu hotel rampage in Costa Adeje last weekend, which included the apparent theft of a taxi cab.
Not that it makes him a bad parent or anything.
“According to a source in Tenerife, a quick trial was held for Darren Till on Saturday where he and four others were ordered to pay €10,000 to the Costa Adeje hotel they stayed at,” veteran MMA reporter Aaron Bronsteter wrote on Twitter. “Darren and another individual were each fined €480 for hotel damages and €360 for theft of a cab.”
I guess in terms of retribution, it beats getting stabbed twice and left for dead.
It’s been a rough year for the struggling Till (17-2, 1 NC). After getting submitted by Tyron Woodley in the UFC 228 pay-per-view (PPV) main event last September, “The Gorilla” was knocked out by Jorge Masvidal at UFC Fight Night 147 in London.
Can’t say he didn’t warn us.
