After seven years with Paradigm Sports, Tony Ferguson is embarking on a new chapter of his career by signing with Ballengee Group.
Top UFC lightweight contender Tony Ferguson is parting ways with Paradigm Sports, home to the likes of Conor McGregor, Cris Cyborg and Stephen Thompson, to join Ballengee Group, a management company that represents fighters such as Eddie Alvarez, Vitor Belfort and Aljamain Sterling.
Paradigm CEO and president Audie Attar confirmed the news to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani on Thursday, wishing Ferguson the best of luck in this new chapter of his MMA career.
“Tony Ferguson is a talented athlete, and we hope his future brings him personal happiness both in and out of the Octagon,” Attar said.
Ferguson, who has battled with mental health issues in the past, says he has been medically cleared to fight and hinted of an upcoming bout against a high-profile opponent.

“I Was Offered A Fight Last Week Before #UFC236. Guess Who? That Means I Don’t Need Additional Clearance. Bring It On – Champ Shit Only,” Ferguson posted on Twitter last week.
Given that reigning UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is expected to unify the titles against newly-crowned interim champ Dustin Poirier, it’s speculated that ‘El Cucuy’ will face McGregor, the former UFC featherweight and lightweight titleholder. Now that Ferguson has parted ways with McGregor’s management company, Paradigm Sports, this fight looks more likely than ever.
