Undefeated UFC lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov will be coming to the UK in June.
Khabib Nurmagomedov will touch down on foreign soil when he visits the United Kingdom as part of an international tour in June.
Nurmagomedov, the reigning UFC lightweight champion, is set to visit three different cities: Manchester, Birmingham, and London.
The undefeated Dagestani, who last fought at UFC 229 where he submitted Conor McGregor to retain the lightweight title, announced the news on Instagram earlier this month.
“Salam Alleykum UK fans I’m looking forward to see you guys in June on my UK tour. For ticket info visit www.khabibuktour.com For updates visit @lockdownpromotions@khabibuktourSee you soon InshaAllah,” Khabib posted on his official Instagram account.
Nurmagomedov, 30, is expected to return to the UFC in a title unification bout against Dustin Poirier. Poirier, a former UFC featherweight contender, captured the interim lightweight strap when he beat Max Holloway via unanimous decision at UFC 236. It’s expected that Khabib vs. Poirier will take place in September, although the bout hasn’t been officially announced.
