Check out the betting odds for tonight’s Bellator 220 card, where Rory MacDonald defends his welterweight title against Jon Fitch in the main event.
Bellator 220 kicks off tonight, April 27, from San Jose, California. Bloody Elbow has the betting odds. The top of the billing will involve the opening round of Bellator’s welterweight Grand Prix when Rory MacDonald meets fellow MMA veteran Jon Fitch. Putting his 170-pound belt on the line, MacDonald is heavily favored here with a moneyline of -375. Fitch is a sizable underdog here with a plus mark of +320.
In the co-main event slot, Bellator’s women’s flyweight title will sway in the balance. With a massive moneyline of -835, undefeated champ Ilima-Lei Macfarlane is the largest betting favorite on the card. Naturally, that makes her opponent, Veta Arteaga, the beefiest underdog on the billing with a moneyline of +515. Before that, former UFC lightweight champ Benson Henderson has been marked as a -350 betting favorite in his matchup with up and comer Adam Piccolotti. Despite a sizable underdog tag of +260, Piccolotti is the smallest plus line available for this event.
Also on the card, a low stakes rematch between two of Bellator’s former light heavyweight champs Phil Davis and Liam McGeary. Davis is quite the betting favorite here, owning a hefty minus line of -460, with a +335 comeback on McGeary. The first time these 205-pounders collided, at Bellator 163, Davis opened as a -265 favorite to a +185 McGeary. Opening up the Bellator 220 main card, 4-1 the Gaston Bolanos is a gigantic -580 betting favorite against 8-4 +415 underdog Nathan Stolen.
