MBellator Birmingham: “Primus vs. Wilde” airs TODAY (May 4, 2019) from Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, England, exclusively via Channel 5 and the Bellator app. The former Lightweight champion, Brent Primus (8-1), returns to action facing a hungry prospect and local favorite in Tim “The Experiment” Wilde (12-3) for the main event.
Bellator Birmingham’s main card will start at 5 p.m. ET with “Prelims” undercard bouts at 2:30 p.m. ET on the Bellator app. MMAmania.com will deliver results and play-by-play for the entirety of the Bellator MMA card.

Saul Rogers vs. Aiden Lee
Blue gloves and black trunks for Lee. Red gloves and black trunks for Rogers. Lee is 7-3 and fights out of Birmingham, England. Rogers is 12-2 and fights out of Manchester, England. Our referee for this fight is Rob Hinds.
Round 1: Lee is circling on the outside as Rogers tries to cut the angle. Lee lands a big right hand. Rogers tries and fails to take Lee down several times even though he gets him high on the air. He finally gets it at 1:12 and takes the back with both hooks in. Rogers throws hard right hands from behind. Lee tries to push off the cage with his feet but Rogers stays glued to his back. Lee tries again at 2:23. Rogers is fishing for a rear naked choke as he softens up Lee with strikes. Lee gets to his knees and stands up with Rogers riding piggyback, shakes Rogers free, but he gets Lee right back down and is in side control. Lee gets to his knees but Rogers goes for a choke. Lee springs to his feet at 4:02. Lee lands a calf kick and Rogers a right hand. Rogers gets a late takedown. 10-9 Rogers.
Round 2: Knee from Lee and right hand from Rogers. Rogers hits the takedown at 0:47. Lee stands up and goes for a ride with one hook in. Lee goes for a knee bar. Rogers pulls free at 1:50. Lee keeps being drug back down to the mat any time he tries to stand. Left hands to the face from Rogers on top. Right elbows. Right hand. Lee’s up with 30 seconds left. 10-9 Rogers.
Round 3: Rogers takes a hard knee early. Rogers continues to push Lee toward the outside. Lee surprises Rogers with a double leg takedown of his own. Lee backs up and throws kicks at Rogers’ legs then jumps back on top. Rogers gets up and gets a takedown to side control with half the round left. Rogers goes for a d’arce choke. Lee gives a thumbs up to show he’s okay. Lee starts to get up at 3:35. He’s taken down again 19 seconds later. Rogers jumps on his back as he gets up then trips him back down to take side control again. Rogers is looking for a late guillotine but Lee pops out right before the bell. 10-9 Rogers.

Brian Moore vs. Binh Son Le
Blue gloves and yellow trunks for Le, 5-2 so far in his career. Brian Moore is 11-7 in the black trunks and red gloves. Moore has a 69” to 62” reach advantage and is also 3” taller at 5’8”. Le fights out of Partile, Sweden and Moore out of Wexford, Ireland. Our referee in charge of this contest is Leon Roberts.
Round 1: Moore charges into range immediately and is tagging Le with left hands. The overhand right connects as well. Le is trying to keep his hands up to block the shots but it leaves him little time to throw his own. The left hook connects at 1:37. Moore is also working shots to the body. Right hand hurts Le. There’s swelling on his left eye. Moore throws an outside leg kick and another right before they clinch at 2:57. Roberts warns them about fingers in the cage. Moore stomps on Le’s feet. Shoulder strike to the chin by Moore. Outside leg trip takedown at 4:08. Moore lets him back up at 4:27. Moore forces Le to defend the head and works the body. 10-9 Moore.
Round 2: Moore catches a kick and smacks Le with an elbow. He’s had Le on his back foot for the entire first minute. Moore checks a head kick. Left to the body by Moore. Moore opens up a cut on Le’s right cheek. Le checks a head kick. Moore lands a knee and drags Le to the ground with 2:25 left. Paul Daley looks on as Moore has his back throwing lefts under the armpit and rights to the head. Le is warned to not put his fingers into Moore’s glove and to only use wrist control. Moore continues to land the right uppercut and drag Le back to the ground the moment he gets up. Le’s nose may be busted. A totally one sided 10-8 round for Moore who has a full mount on the back before the bell.
Round 3: Moore sprawls and is on the back on the ground 48 seconds in. Knees to the body and ribs before Le stands up and is dragged back down at 1:55. Le gets up, Le goes down. He’s got nothing. Le finally gets a sweep but Moore gets up immediately and has a single leg against the cage. 10-9 Moore.
Final result: The judges score it 30-26, 30-25 X2 all for Brian Moore.
James Mulheron vs. Lee Chadwick
Blue gloves and white trunks for Chadwick. Navy trunks and red gloves for Mulheron. 24-14-1 vs. 11-3 respectively. Chadwick is three years older at 34 to 31 but Mulheron has a one inch reach advantage at 73”. Chadwick fights out of Liverpool, England and Mulheron fights out of South Shields, England. Our referee in charge is Rob Hinds.
Round 1: Glove tap kicks things off. Both of these 205ers are taking their time moving toward each other and measuring the range. Mulheron lands flush, gets turned into the cage by Chadwick and breaks free. Rinse, lather, repeat plus add some dirty boxing from both and body shots by Chadwick. Left hook by Chadwick. Right hand by Mulheron as he pushes Chadwick into the fence. Chadwick turns it around and drops levels for a takedown, nearly taking the back before Mulheron gets back up. They break at 4:06. Stiff right hook for Mulheron. Chadwick turns him around and Mulheron throws a knee that was too low so the ref calls time. They tap gloves and restart with 10 seconds left. 10-9 Mulheron.
Round 2: Both men are in a phone booth for 15 seconds until Chadwick drives Mulheron into the cage. Mulheron continues to land knees to the body as Chadwick presses forward and Chadwick tries to respond with short right hands. Chadwick gets the takedown at 1:50 but Mulheron pops up immediately. The longer Chadwick tries to hold him against the cage the worse he’s getting tagged by the uppercuts to the chin and knees to the chest. Hinds could even reset Chadwick for stalling. Mulheron breaks at 3:50 and they trade heavy hands. Chadwick clinches again and we’re back to the knees. He breaks again at 4:16. Chadwick looks gassed and takes an uppercut and a knee before putting Mulheron on the fence. 10-9 again for Mulheron.
Round 3: Chadwick finally gets the better of a striking exchange on the feet as he pushes Mulheron into the fence at 0:30. He digs into the body with shots as he looks to wrap his hands around the legs for a takedown. Mulheron gets underhooks to block it. Hinds calls for improvement from both men. Chadwick lands some short uppercuts and Mulheron lands more knees. Now it’s Mulheron who looks a little winded. He comes forward chasing an uppercut, misses, and his back is on the cage again. Mulheron lands an uppercut and a knee. Mulheron spins free at 3:40 and now he puts Chadwick on the fence. Chadwick turns it right around. Hinds warns both men again at 4:12. Chadwick looks for a takedown but it’s not there. They swing haymakers before the bell and a late shot tags Chadwick in the cup. Hinds stopped it and restarted it for the remaining second — rather silly. 10-9 Chadwick.
Final result: The judges score it 29-28 and 30-27 X2 all for Lee Chadwick.
Jim Wallhead vs. Giorgio Pietrini
Round 1: Wallhead has the red gloves with grey trunks, and Pietrini has the blue gloves and black trunks. Pietrini shoots at 1:27, doesn’t get the takedown, and Wallhead easily breaks free of the clinch. Pietrini chases an overhand right as Wallhead presses toward him landing a jab and left hook. Pietrini kicks at Wallhead’s left lead leg. Wallhead looks to put him against the fence but kicks to the midriff keep him at bay. Wallhead lands a left hook as Pietrini tries to engage him. Wallhead throws several good jabs with the left hand. 10-9 for Wallhead.
Round 2: Pietrini is taken down 17 seconds into R2 but quickly resets to his feet and pushes Wallhead into the cage, who breaks free at 45 seconds. Left hook by Wallhead. Left jab. Takedown at 1:33. Wallhead is trying to flatten his opponent down from half guard while Paul Daley stands behind them smiling. Pietrini gets up at 2:24 and Wallhead circles off 20 seconds later. Wallhead sprawls to block a takedown and lands a nice hook. Pietrini goes back to kicking Wallhead’s lead left leg and “Judo Jim” is limping a bit. Wallhead gets another takedown at 3:46. Wallhead keeps him grounded for the remainder. 10-9 Wallhead.
Round 3: Both men go to their bread and butter immediately – Pietrini fires a leg kick and Wallhead grabs him for another takedown. The bruising on the left leg and thigh of Wallhead looks awfully nasty as he works from full guard on top. Wallhead gets half guard to smother Pietrini and throw short elbows, then starts trying to pass to side control to his left. Wallhead pins an arm and throws uncontested left shots to the head and face. There’s blood pouring from Pietrini now and speckling onto the white canvas anywhere they move. Wallhead’s left leg has turned three shades of purple but he’s busting Wallhead’s face with elbows. He may be limping tomorrow but this is a 10-8 round for “Judo Jim” to get a win.
Final result: The judges score it 29-27, 30-26 and 30-26 all for Jim Wallhead.
Dominique Wooding vs. David Khalsa
Khalsa has the gray/black trunks and blue gloves with a pro record of 2-4. “The Black Panther” Wooding has the silver trunks and red gloves with a record of 5-2. Wooding has a two inch reach advantage 72” to 72” and is 9 years younger at 22. Khalsa fights out of Kidderminster, England. Wooding fights out of London, England. Our referee for this contest is Leon Roberts.
Round 1: Tap of gloves to start. Wooding immediately pushes Khalsa backward throwing left hands and right leg kicks. Big knee to the body at 44 seconds from Wooding. Khalsa loses his footing off a hard kick then gets dropped by a right at 1:18. Khalsa throws a head kick that misses to back Wooding up. Wooding goes to the body and the head. Khalsa is dropped again at 2:26. He gets up and eats a jumping knee. He gets dropped again with a right hook at 2:42 and Roberts waves off the fight.
Final result: Dominique Wooding via technical knockout at 2:43 in round one.
Craig Turner vs. Ashley Reece
Final result: Reece defeats Turner via unanimous decision 30-27 X3.
Kane Mousah vs. Mateusz Piskorz
Blue gloves, black trunks, Piskorz is 14-4. Red gloves, black trunks, Mousah is 11-2. Piskorz has a 3” reach advantage at 72” and is 7 years younger at 26. He fights out of Dublin, Ireland. Mousah fights out of Manchester, England. The referee is Rob Hinds.
Round 1: Piskorz charges forward with his hands high and his left hand cocked. Hands fly and body kicks connect. Piskorz clinches and they’re on the cage at 45 seconds. They jockey back and forth for position until Mousah gets the better of it with underhooks, throwing knees at Piskorz legs. Hinds calls for more work. Mousah tries to smack him with an elbow and loses position. Piskorz drives forward trying to clinch for a knee. Mousah regains control and puts him on the fence. Hinds warns Mousah not to grab the cage. Body shots and knees to the midsection from Mousah. That’s how it stays until the bell. 10-9 Mousah.
Round 2: Piskorz opens this round as he did the last one trying to use his height and reach and throws a beautiful knee to the body, but Mousah grabs him and looks for a knee of his own. They break at 1:19. Head kick by Piskorz and overhand right by Mousah. Piskorz catches a kick and briefly has Mousah down at 1:39. Piskorz breaks at 2:03 and gets a takedown 9 seconds later. Mousah is back up quickly. Piskorz and Mousah work their way back to center at 3:10 and Mousah drops him with a hard right. Mousah backs up at 3:50 and throws a shot to the body. Another hard right at 4:05 and another body shot. Mousah chases him and goes for a kick but Piskorz takes him down. Mousah is back up at 4:30 and gets his own takedown. 10-9 Mousah.
Round 3: Piskorz shoots at 18 seconds. Mousah uses his head to press against Piskorz and turn him around. They separate at 1:07. Mousah starts landing heavy hands as Piskorz backs away. Double leg for Piskorz at 1:50. Piskorz goes for the back throwing elbows to the head. Mousah sweeps and is on top with half the round left. Piskorz is cut around his right eye and Mousah targets that spot. Piskorz is trying to wall walk but he’s eating more right hands in the process. Mousah nearly pins the left arm down with a knee. Piskorz gives up his back trying to get up to no avail. 10-9 Mousah.
