Harrahs TunicaPress Release – CHICAGO, Ill. (March 1, 2011) – Bellator Fighting Championships today announced the venue location for Bellator 38 which will take place at the Harrah’s Tunica Hotel and Casino in Tunica Resorts, Mississippi on March 26, 2011. The event will be broadcast LIVE on MTV2.

Tickets for the event will go on sale through Ticketmaster on March 5. Doors open at 4:30pm, with first fight taking place at 5pm. The event will be broadcast at a special time, hitting airwaves LIVE on MTV2 at 7pm EST on March 26.

The Season 4 event will feature the first ever Bellator Light Heavyweight Tournament quarterfinal pairings as well as a host of exciting Local Feature Fights. The event will feature former undefeated NCAA Division I All-American wrestler Nik “The Machete” Fekete, fourth degree BJJ black belt Daniel Gracie of MMA’s royal Gracie family, fast rising Bellator veteran Raphael Davis and many others. Bellator 38 marks the promotion’s first trip to The Magnolia State.

“We are thrilled to be bringing our live MTV2 broadcast to the great State of Mississippi and to the magical Harrah’s Tunica. This will be a spectacular show featuring eight world class Light Heavyweights,” said Bellator Chairman and CEO Bjorn Rebney.

As the largest casino resort between Atlantic City and Las Vegas, Harrah’s Tunica offers a state of the art, 2,300 seat event center perfect for live MMA action. Along with 140,000 square feet of casino entertainment, the resort is also home to Willows Sporting Clays & Hunting Center.

The Bellator Season 4 Light Heavyweight Tournament will feature Daniel Gracie, Nik Fekete, Chris Davis, D.J. Linderman, Tim Carpenter, Christian M’Pumbu, Richard Hale, and Raphael Davis.
