I was going to comment on how busy Greg Hardy has been in 2019, but I’m not sure if his destruction of Dmitry Smoliakov even counts as a win. The Russian “Lifeguard” folded so quickly and with so little resistance it was almost Sapp-worthy.
Regardless, Hardy has already been booked for his third fight inside the Octagon, where he’ll take on towering Texas “Kraken,” Juan Adams, who like Hardy is a graduate of Dana White’s “Contender Series.”
They’re expected to do the deed at the upcoming UFC on ESPN 4 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, according to ESPN, currently scheduled for Sat., July 20, 2019 inside AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Hardy (4-1) has laid waste to every opponent to date, with the exception of Allen Crowder, who took an errant knee to the dome and won by disqualification. Adams (5-1), meanwhile, recently saw his undefeated streak snapped at the hands of Olympic wrestler Arjan Singh Bhullar.
Hardy’s placement on the card, a place of contention for past events, has yet to be determined.
