LEMOORE, Calif. – Former Bellator Fighting Championships champion Lyman
Good took the first step toward reclaiming his belt from current
title-holder Ben Askren with a unanimous-decision win over Chris Lozano in a tournament quarterfinal matchup.
Good dominated Lozano for the three-round affair, which served as the
featured contest of Saturday night’s Bellator 35 event at the Tachi
Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, Calif.
Fellow welterweight contenders Rick Hawn and Brent Weedman also advanced via decision while tourney favorite Jay Hieron earned a quarterfinal win with a controversial technical submission.
