Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held its official UFC Fight Night 153 early weigh-in event while most of us were sleeping, setting the stage for all the ESPN+ action this Sat. night (June 1, 2019) inside Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. I’m happy to report that all 24 fighters made weight, though I’m not as thrilled to remind you that Volkan Oezdemir vs. Ilir Latifi has been scrapped due to injury.

UFC Fight Night 153 will be headlined by the 205-pound showdown between former title contenders, Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Smith, who collide for prime real estate in the Top 5 of the division. But before “The Mauler” goes to war with “Lionheart,” international power punchers, Jimi Manuwa vs. Aleksandar Rakic, will throw hands in the light heavyweight co-main event. Remember, this card kicks off at 10 a.m. ET on ESPN2 with a main card start time of 1 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
