The light heavyweight division was shook up at UFC Stockholm.
UFC Stockholm saw a stunning upset in the headliner and a stunning head kick KO in the co-main. Other than that, it didn’t see much at all from a rankings standpoint. There were only two other ranked fighters on the card below the top two fights, and they met each other in a bout that went to a one-sided unanimous decision.
Without further adieu, here’s a look at the changes for this week.
P4P – No changes.
Heavyweight – No changes.
Light Heavyweight – Alexander Gustafsson fell two spots due to his surprising loss to Smith. He currently sits at four, but is likely to be removed altogether if he really is retired. Thiago Santos is up one spot to two and Smith is up one spot to three. Rakic enters the list at 11. Jimmie Rivera has already been removed due to retirement after Rakic KO’d him.
Middleweight – David Branch re-enters at 15.
Welterweight – No changes.
Lightweight – No changes.
Featherweight – No changes.
Bantamweight – No changes.
Flyweight – The loss of more fighters means there are only 12 ranked now. It’s not even really worth nothing who moved up when there’s only 10-13 fighters in a whole damn division.
Women’s Bantamweight – Lina Lansberg us up one to 12, dropping Tonya Evinger to 13. Sijara Eubanks is up one to 14, sending Bethe Correia down to 15.
Women’s Flyweight – No changes.
Women’s Strawweight – No changes.
